During operating hours, visitors can now enjoy a new feature at the visitor center. Every 30 minutes, "Life in the Desert," a 20-minute high-definition movie about Lake Mead National Recreation Area is shown in the auditorium that is equipped with a new audio visual system.
All Mountain Cyclery: Bike Rentals And Outdoor Tours
Start your day off with a bike ride on one of the most historic trails in Southern Nevada. This new trail is part of the original historical railroad that hauled materials and people to the Hoover Dam. Along your ride you will experience the Mojave Desert in its natural setting while gradually descending on the trail over open desert and through Wild West style settings.
Art Walking Tour
This audio walking tour takes you to 11 sites within Boulder City's historic district. The tour is about one mile long. Each site has a marker to identify the site and to provide instructions on how to access the audio. Each audio is about three to five minutes long.

Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon
It’s time to Zipline over the Mojave Desert. All participants will complete four different ziplines. Between the four runs guests will cover over 8,000 feet (1.5 miles) as you travel at speeds up to 60+ mph down the Red Mountains in Boulder City. The whole experience will last around 3 hours. There is some moderate hiking in the beginning to get to the first zipline.
